Wpbingo AI Commander ("the app") is a Shopify app that lets merchants manage pricing, inventory, and sale campaigns using plain-language commands. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and what is shared with third parties.
We do not collect your customers' names, email addresses, physical addresses, or phone numbers. The app reads product, inventory, and order data (quantities, totals, fulfillment status) from your store's Shopify Admin API to power its features, but never requests customer-identifying fields.
Data is used solely to operate the app's own features for your store: parsing your commands, applying the changes you approve, running scheduled sale campaigns, and generating the Insights trend analysis and AI-written summaries. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
When you use the Command Center, the text of your typed command (plus the names of your store's collections, so the AI can match a command like "the Summer collection") is sent to whichever AI provider you've configured in Settings. When you use Insights, aggregated store performance figures (revenue totals, order counts, product titles and quantities sold) are sent to generate the written trend summary. In both cases, this is limited to the data described above — no customer information is ever included.
Each AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, or OpenRouter, depending on your choice) processes this data under its own privacy policy and terms, which you can review directly on that provider's website.
Command history is kept for the retention period you configure in Settings, after which it's automatically deleted. If you uninstall the app, your store's data is deleted from our database in accordance with Shopify's standard app-uninstall data handling. You can also request deletion of your data, or access to what's stored, at any time by contacting us at the email below — this is handled automatically via Shopify's mandatory data-request and redaction webhooks.
AI provider API keys are encrypted at rest. Access to the app's database is restricted to the operation of the app itself. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
